Belleplain Gnatcatcher, Heislerville Herons

Janet Crawford and Karen Johnson reported yesterday that Blue-gray Gnatcatcher was in at Belleplain State Forest, a single bird near Lake Nummy. They also had 3 Glossy Ibis at Heislerville in the shorebird pool, which is being drawn down now. Over 30 Black-crowned Night-herons were on the "heron island," i.e. the island in the pool on the right as you're driving into Matt's Landing.

In the kind of weird department, a male Black Scoter was on Lily Lake in Cape May Point yesterday.
