Forgot to mention....

Michael O'Brien was in the Northwood Center today and mentioned that Red-throated Loons are very plentiful and relatively easy right now, seen from the Concrete Ship area at the end of Sunset Blvd.

This is the time of year when both the loons and scoter are massing in the Delaware Bay, staging for the return northward migration. A simple walk-on ferry trip can be a great way to experience this phenomena with the possibility of seeing hundreds of loons, thousands of scoter and gannets and who knows what else!

If you happen to be in Cape May this weekend, say for the 13th Annual Optics Sale, you might try a trip on the ferry. That is if the weather forecasters are wrong about the potential soaking that they have predicted for our area for the weekend.

Good luck and I hope you get that high-end optic of your dreams at the unreal prices we offer during the Optics Sale.
