[This Ipswich Sparrow was one of three Karl Lukens found at Stone Harbor. Ipswich is a large, pale subspecies of Savannah Sparrow with a small (6500-7000) population and breeding range limited to Sable Island, Nova Scotia.]Karl Lukens reports: "Walked most of the SH Point and could find NO Snowy Owl. It was Not on any of the roof tops in the 111th street area. I did find 65 Oystercatchers on the point (not sure if they could be seen from Nummy), and 3 "Ipswich" Savannah Sparrows. "
