Eurasian Wigeon and 'Eurasian' Green-winged Teal at Tuckahoe

Yesterday, Michael O' Brien found a Eurasian Wigeon and a Eurasian Green-winged Teal (otherwise known as Common Teal) in a large flock of waterfowl at Tuckahoe WMA- viewed from Gibson Landing Road on the Atlantic County side of the WMA. The teal is technically considered a subspecies of Green-winged Teal, but there has been much discussion among ornithologists about splitting the two into separate species. Regardless, it's a great bird to study, so get over there!

If you aren't familiar with Tuckahoe, you can find it on the CMBO Cape May County Map, Site J
