Probable Cinnamon Teal in the Meadows, and note about closures there

[This teal (right bird) was found by Chris Vogel yesterday and identified as a possible Cinnamon Teal. It has been studied by a slew of experts and the current concensus is that it probably is a juv. male Cinnamon Teal, with no obvious signs of being a hybrid. The Nature Conservancy has informed us that the Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge a.k.a. the South Cape May Meadows will be closed for adaptive management practices (spraying of phragmites) beginning Monday, September 21. We'll provide updates as we hear of them.
