Soggy Morning at the Point
It was a very rough walk this morning at the State Park. A few visitors braved the weather report and decided it was worth the risk. We were rewarded with a nice look at a Green Heron at the beginning of the trial and we fought hard for the rest. Caspian Terns in the bunker pond. Savanna Sparrow on the dunes were all soaking wet as were we after a good down poor. A few Yellow Warblers feeding in the bay berry and a large number of Tree Swallows rounded the day out. Outlook for the end of the week looks good it would be great to see some migration.
