TNC Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge (a.k.a. the meadows) to be closed

I learned today that The Nature Conservancy's Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge, a.k.a. the South Cape May Meadows, will likely be closed for phragmites spraying beginning Monday, September 17, 2007 for 2 or more days. CMBO's Monday morning walk will re-direct to Cape May Point State Park if this occurs. That site is probably the best alternative for birding comparable to that in the meadows.
