Cattle Egrets @ the Rea Farm, Kentucky Warbler @ Belleplain

[One of four Cattle Egrets seen at the Rea Farm this morning.]

CMBO's two Saturday morning walks, at The Rea Farm (Beanery) and Belleplain State Forest, both produced excellent results.

This from Karl Lukens:
"...Showers held off until we finished at the parking lot. Otherwise some good birding. We managed the "Blues Brothers" - Bluebird, Indigo Bunting, and Blue Grosbeak. Nice looks at Parula, and Prairie Warblers, Common Yellowthroat, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. Also had nice looks at breeding plumage Cattle Egrets."

And this from Dave Lord:
"An overcast morning yielded some good birding in Belleplain. Highlights included a first of year Eastern Wood-Pewee, Spotted Sandpiper, Northen Parula and a Kentucky Warbler by the triangle. Another interesting observation was the plethora of Hooded Warblers, at least 5 were counted singing."
