Blackpoll Warbler near Norbury's Landing. Blackpolls are classically thought of as late-season migrants, and they are - sort of. More accurately, they span the spring migration month of May, sometimes with a vanguard bird or two late April, peaking in mid-late May, and continuing as northbound migrants into early June.
