Two
American Avocets showed up at Cape May Point State Park this morning and showed well for our Walk For All People this morning. The walk produced yet another fine list of shorebirds and ample opportunity to get to grips with the subtle differences between the species. The
Black-bellied Whistling-ducks continue on the south side of Lighthouse Pond and most evenings at the moment, small numbers of
Black-crowned Night Herons can be heard calling overhead. Visit our
Field Trip Reports for full species lists of our walks and programs.
