It appears that nobody has seen the REDDISH EGRET at Brig/Forsythe NWR so far this morning...hopefully it'll return! I understand that a Wilson's Phalarope was there yesterday, and good shorebirding conditions are underway right now, as east winds combine with some occasional rain. Perhaps a walk around the Meadows or a look at Bunker Pond will be required later.
Folks should also take a look at the excellent list of birds that were seen at the Higbee Dike during today's rain-shortened morning flight count. How many times have you ever put Chuck-will's-widow, Golden-winged Warbler and Hudsonian Godwit on the same morning's list?
