There were no reports today of the Brown-headed Nuthatch. Hopefully, with the weekend and more pleasant weather, more folks will be out looking for the bird -- with some success.
In all the excitement yesterday, a couple of shorebird reports didn't make the cut, so I'll report them now. The Pectoral Sandpiper flock in NW Cape May Co. at the sod farm between Paper Mill and Lehner roads grew to 10 birds and was joined by a Dunlin. Louise Zemaitis snagged the local FOS Solitary Sandpiper along Stevens St. in West Cape May.
Here's to a great weekend!
